Age spots are the result of a lifetime of exposure to the sun or tanning beds. Young people also aren’t immune: damage can appear in people in their 20’s. The face, chest and back of your hands are the more likely places for you to develop age spots because of their increased exposure to the sun. 

It may be hard to believe it’s summer, but my calendar tells me otherwise. All of the rain and cooler temperatures have made it feel more like October, but that being said, at least we’re past the point of needing to don four layers just to venture outside. Can I hear an “amen?”

I have almost forgotten what it feels like to not feel the shirt on your back.  It has been about three weeks since my third laser hair appointment.  I have lost approx half of the hair on my back from only three treatments.

I may be jumping the gun here with respect to spending this past (very cold) weekend in spring cleaning mode, but really, what else are you going to do when it’s so darn cold out. I spent all day Saturday purging my laundry and office of long over due “stuff” that has been building up from easily the past year. It definitely conjures up the image of a pack rat.

Well my friends, my most recent treatment marked the halfway point of this laser hair removal process. Halfway - can you believe it? It sure doesn’t feel like four months ago that I entered the Jeunesse office, shaking with nerves and not at all sure what to expect.

Picture a time when you and your man will go for bikini waxes together. NOT! Remember the 70’s with the button down shirts and curly crisp hair right up to the neck? You might think I just aged myself there, but YUCKO! I was never one for running my hands over a burly chest matted in hair. While men  most likely won’t go the “Full Monty” route, a.k.a Brazilian, you might be surprised, or not, to hear that men are indeed taking it off….body hair that is.

As technicians we get this question often, "why are the prices between laser clinics different". We know that our prices are higher than some of our competitors and simply our reply is....you get what you pay for. However, to shed some light on the reasoning I will share a discussion with you that I recently had with someone who goes to a competitor because of the price.

Well, it's been about a month since my second treatment. I think that I was
more prepared for it - or maybe Sara just turned down the laser so that she
wouldn't get kicked during my convulsions! She says that it's because there was less
hair there but I wouldn't want to get kicked in the face either!
